Leonard J Infranca, AIA NCARB

Leonard Infranca is a native New Yorker, hailing from Long Island. At an early age, he decided that Architecture would be his profession, so he attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC for his undergraduate and post-graduate studies.

Upon graduation, Leonard remained in the District of Columbia where he pursued his career with local firms. During his time in DC, he also had opportunities to work in construction, allowing him to experience the craft of assembling buildings and learning how a building is actually put together. He joined the firm of Devereaux and Associates where he solidified his experience designing with wood frame construction and managing single-family residential projects. While there, he passed his ARE and obtained licensure in the District of Columbia. He soon began to work on larger multifamily and commercial project types and joined Torti Gallas and Partners.

In 2002, Leonard relocated to New Jersey and joined Looney Ricks Kiss in their Princeton office before moving to Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners. At MW he continued to diversify his experience to include high-rise structures along with increased management responsibilities which culminated in his becoming a firm principal where he helped expand the firm by opening a second office in Newark, New Jersey.

In his years as an Architect, Leonard has enjoyed collaborating on and managing a wide variety of multifamily, mixed-use, urban redevelopment, commercial, and single-family projects.

His experience includes low-rise through high-rise buildings spanning construction types of wood frame, cold-formed metal, steel, and concrete structural systems.

Leonard’s involvement in projects ranges from the planning and approvals phase to full construction documentation, construction administration, and project management. He has enthusiastically taken on responsibility for organizing and presenting educational programs and seminars along with directly mentoring younger staff. As a firm leader, his experience includes management of all administrative duties including contract preparation and execution, and duties as a Principal.
